Contrast In Mood
1/125, f/4, 6400, 68 mm
If anybody has ever been to Chapel Hill, NC, they would know that the famed Franklin Street, the main drag here, is usually very, very busy. So what captured my eye? A “calm” in the storm. I couldn’t help but miss this inviting wall with no glass windows, a simple brick wall, and only one main lamp.
I spent about fifteen minutes just capturing pedestrians as they walked by. My choice here is one of many pics of a solitary person walking into the frame. Of course, there are few frames here.
My advice to you… just be patient and devote an inordinate amount of time just waiting for the right feeling.
Solar Eclipse
1/1000, f/6.3, 1600 ISO, 350mm
The solar eclipse that the nation experienced on August 21, turned out to be an unforgettable event – especially for those who were fortunate to have great weather and were in the “path of totality”.
Forsyth Park
Forsyth Fountain.   A central point in Forsyth Square, this fountain epitomizes the charm and grace of Savannah.
This sculpture is really located in the Jepson Center Museum.  I digitally placed it in the Bonaventure Cemetery.
