BIO & CONTACT
Al Gorham has been in photography since the eighties. He is completely self-taught and has also learned by watching his father develop film in the makeshift darkroom in their basement when he was very small.
Al captures images for weddings and family as a profession. As a hobby, he photographs landscapes, cityscapes, and architecture.
With a solid background in software design and a passion for taking pictures, digital photography became a perfect fit for him. Moreover, Al loves to teach, thus Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, NC has provided him with a wonderful opportunity to share his passion with others.
Mr. Gorham also teaches privately for small groups and individuals. The imaging software of choice are Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. He has invested in the Nikon line of cameras and lenses, yet he is also familiar with other brands of cameras as a requirement for teaching photography.
Each of his students automatically receive his “lifetime support” in the use of their cameras and image editing tools.
